Reviews and Ratings
I had a somewhat mixed experience at the Lago Mar Beach Resort. While the location is great and the beach area is lovely, the room I was assigned left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Unfortunately, the placement of my suite near the bathroom and cleaning facilities wasn’t ideal, and it got pretty hot at times. Overall, the resort has potential, but there were a few notable downsides that kept it from being a perfect stay.
The hotel is located in a fantastic area, close to the vibrant Mallory Square and the harbor while still being quiet. The rooms were clean but a bit dated, which doesn't quite justify the price. The staff had the friendly attitude you'd hope for, but the service could use a bit more training. Overall, it's a decent stay, but there are some areas for improvement.
The hotel has a great location on Duval Street, making it super convenient for exploring Key West. While my room was clean, facing the parking lot and the noisy A/C unit didn't quite meet my expectations. The service was a bit hit or miss; we felt neglected after check-in. However, the amenities, like the pool and beach access, were lovely and added to the experience.
The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with beautiful rooms that open up to a nice patio. The location is great for exploring the area, but the cleanliness could use some improvement as I noticed leftover cigarette butts from previous guests. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful, though there were a couple of hiccups with service. Overall, I found the experience enjoyable, but some aspects were not ideal.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location is fantastic, as it's near Mallory Square and the harbor, which made it easy to explore. The rooms, while spacious, had some drawbacks, particularly the noise and undesirable views. The service from the staff was excellent and very friendly, especially from Bill and Roman. However, I found the dining options overpriced for what they offered.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were clean, they were a bit outdated and small for the price. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made a significant difference. The location is fantastic, with a private beach that provides a beautiful view, especially at sunset. However, the dining options were a bit on the pricey side for what you get.
I had a decent stay at the hotel, which boasted a great location close to everything in Key West, making it convenient to explore. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, although they could have used a bit more seating. The service was friendly, but at times seemed overwhelmed, and I did notice a few cleanliness issues in the common areas. Overall, it was a fair value for the price, but there were areas that could use improvement.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were neat and offered a beautiful view, though noise from the lobby and housekeeping could be an issue. The service was generally friendly and accommodating, but some staff at the beach weren't as welcoming. The location is amazing, right by the historic pier and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Overall, I think the hotel provides decent value for money, but there are definitely areas for improvement.
The hotel has a pretty good location, right near the beach and some great spots. I found the rooms to be nice, but I would have preferred a higher floor and less noise from the nearby men's bathroom. The staff was friendly and provided good service overall, although there were some mix-ups during check-out. I appreciated the amenities, but it could use a little more attention in the cleaning department.
I had a decent stay at this hotel, but there were definitely some issues. The location was fantastic, close to the action but still quiet, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, my room felt dated and had some cleanliness concerns, which was disappointing for the price I paid. Overall, it’s a mixed bag but still a reasonable choice if you want to be in a great area.
